Crowns & Bridges

Crowns cover or “cap” a tooth to restore the normal function and appearance of the tooth. While, fixed bridge technique is fabricated on teeth on both sides of the space left by the missing tooth are prepared for a crown. Then a false tooth is joined to the crowns, and the entire bridge is cemented to the prepared teeth. With evolving implant therapy, less fixed bridges are clinically indicated.

Implant Crowns & Bridges

Dental implants are metal cylinders made of titanium surgically placed in the jawbone where teeth are missing. Implants replace the roots of missing teeth and support single crowns or large bridges.  The crowns and bridges supported by implants are complex work and may require waiting times for the crowns and bridges to be fabricated.

Aesthetic Reconstruction

Porcelain veneers are used to modify the shape and colour of teeth, and they are the treatment of choice for teeth that are relatively intact but may be misshapen, discoloured, or chipped. The treatment with veneers is not a one-day treatment and may need more comprehensive approach with added restorations to the surrounded teeth or referral for orthodontic treatment to improve the teeth alignment.

Partial Coverage Inlays
& Onlays

Inlays and onlays are used instead of fillings to replace smaller amounts of tooth structure loss and reinforce the remaining tooth integrity.  Special bonding techniques may be used to attach the ceramic or metal material to the teeth or with types of special cement to attach certain restorations to the teeth.

Dentures & Implant Assisted
Dentures

Dentures are replacements for missing teeth. Complete dentures replace all teeth and removable partial dentures replace some teeth. With evolution of implant therapy, significant improvement in denture design was developed utilising these implants to retain and assist these dentures.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation
& Worn-Down Dentition

Full mouth rehabilitation refers to rebuilding and/or replacing most of the teeth in a patient’s mouth either both arches or one arch with or without the need of changing the bite. Full mouth rehabilitation combines aesthetics with the science of prosthodontic dentistry to improve the health, function, and beauty of the mouth.

TMD Treatment

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ), when not functioning properly, can cause a tremendous amount of discomfort. The joint has complex anatomy, with many factors affecting its health. Once the joint becomes inflamed, any stimuli may cause pain, discomfort, and perpetuate the problem.

Advanced Prosthesis

Such as Maxillofacial prosthetics that replace and restore portions of the jaw or the surrounding that have been lost as a result of cancer or trauma. It also includes the dental management of patients that have undergone radiation or chemotherapy for cancer of the head and neck region. Patient care is usually coordinated with Maxillofacial surgeons.

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea

Sleep apnoea is a sleep disorder that hinders patient’s breathing. After specific investigations and referral pathway, a custom-designed oral appliance can be fabricated to decrease the apnoea symptoms. Oral appliance is less commonly used in this condition, but considered as a gentle, non-invasive solution, and proven improvement for sleep apnoea.
